Life has taught me that God presents himself in many forms, in people and in nature; not just within the pages of a holy book. He is who He is, whether you call him Jesus, Allah, Yahweh, Yemaya, Elohim, Para Brahman or Obatala. He is the Sacred King and Mother Earth. He is a father, mother and child.

I love to read, dance, laugh, drink tea, wear oversize sweat pants, and 5 inch stilettos (though not together). I watch basketball and documentaries on the human condition. I sing at full volume in the car. I love the smell of the rain, but the warmth of the sun. I was born in the winter but I'm most alive in the summer.



This is not always a welcomed trait, and I accept that there will be people who are annoyed or irritated by me because of it.


My synapses are most active at 3 in the morning; but my body is not, so lots of ideas never see the light of day because I can’t find the energy it takes to get up and write them down.
